  • Welcome to my world of colour. Through my paintings I hope to share with you what I see and also how my imagination is sparked by my observations. Table top vistas, memories of places and people, all flow into my mind as I paint. These imaginative compositions take on a life of their own as the paintings progess.

  • About Me

Since 1997 I have lived and worked in Dumfriesshire in Southern Scotland, where I have made my home and studio. I was born and brought up in Glasgow and after school I followed my family south of the border.

I did a two year Foundation Course at Harrow School of Art and a BA(Hons) in Fine Art Painting at Norwich School of Art followed by a postgraduate year and an ATD from Leicester University.

After many years of teaching alongside painting, I now devote all of my time to painting apart a few weeks each year when I enjoy leading painting and colour workshops at beautiful and sunny places like the Centro d’Arte Verrocchio in Tuscany.

I exhibit regularly and have work in many private collections in UK and world wide. There are works also in collection of Gracefield Arts Centre, Dumfries and the Women’s Library, Glasgow.
