I use my IPad and a simple app called ArtRage to sketch on location and to edit certain colour changes in my oil paintings. I find it a very useful tool for composition and trying out certain effects before I get to the paint. For me it will never be as satisfying as the feel of actual, messy, unpredictable art materials but I wouldn't be without it.
