This title is also the title of a beautiful picture painted in 1947, by the American artist. Andrew Wyeth. I have always loved this painting with its blowing curtains and evocative title and for years I have used this kind of rhythmic shape in many of my paintings to link inside and outside views.

This one is pure fantasy. A private garden with sculptures (they are memories of real sculptures) on an idyllic beach, nude sunbathing, and refreshments on hand and the promise of a dip in the blue, blue sea later. Bliss!
